It's only 65 degrees today, raining, breezy, and absolute fall weather perfection. I could not be more thrilled. I have so many cozy sweaters waiting for me and I can finally eat my Pumpkin Spice flavored things without being judged by everyone and their dog. It's been a hot second since I've done any fashion posts on HTC, which is actually a hoot since I've been working in the fashion industry for almost a year and buy clothes pretty much every week (hard not to . . .

I don't know about you, but there's just something so magical about September. Cooler temperatures are coming, the holidays are around the corner, and (maybe it's because I'm an Enneagram 4) but the air always feels nostalgic and welcoming once September hits. You know what else is magical about September 1st? It kicks off Ulta's huge semi-annual sale: 21 Days of Beauty! Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty is a semi-annual event (held in the spring and fall) where they mark down a ton of high-end products for one day (usually 50% . . .

True story: Once I started really getting into makeup, I used to feel SO insecure to go out without foundation because I hated how uneven my skin looked. I have a few patches of discoloration on my cheeks that powders have a hard time sticking to and without an even base, it looked like I had no clue what I was . . .
Well, I'm just going to come right out and say it: I thought we'd be pregnant by now. I actually thought we'd be pregnant a long time ago, but surprise, surprise, things are not going as planned. I shared in my post earlier this week what's been going on medically for me over the last few months, including why I needed surgery two weeks ago. What I didn't say was that our OB basically told us that we would need to wait for a few more months before trying to grow our family again to let my body heal from the surgery. Understandable, but definitely another frustrating setback to our plans for bringing Baby Carr into the world (our miscarriage being our first . . .
