Even though I had gone through my first round of chemo, had dropped 20 pounds in a week and ended up back in the hospital for a hydration transfusion because my sodium levels had dropped drastically, it was still hard for me to believe I had cancer. Sure, I was a little skinnier and super pale, but anyone who saw me passing by wouldn't know about the war raging in my body and the six inch tumor I named Ricardo growing in my leg. I still looked like a regular 15 year old girl, granted a little bit of a rebel one, because of the bright red hair. I died my hair fire engine red the day after I was diagnosed. My "last hurrah" before it all came out, although it . . .
This was my first month having sponsors for Life with Rosie and I couldn't be happier about the girls who put their banners on my sidebar! I've made some great friendships and have learned from all of them, and wanted to introduce you all to a few new blogs out there that you should be reading! Ashley from Keeping Up With Ashley and Cody is currently studying to be a teacher and blogs about her life, marriage and everything between. She's doing a different version of a health challenge and wrote about it all here. Lizzie at The Kindhearted is so talented with her words and photographs. She's also a hair magician and I loved this simple but classic hair . . .
February is almost over! Here is a round up of all the things/products that were IN for me and the things that were most definitely OUT! IN: The Wet Hair Brush - Guys, this brush has changed EVERYTHING for my hair. My hair is probably the worst tangly mess every whenever I get out of the shower and I usually just take a giant paddle brush to it and wretch it through. I use the wet brush in the shower after putting in my conditioner and it just cuts through my hair like a knife through butter. The bristles are SUPER flexible so instead of getting caught in the tangles, they bend with it and slowly work the snarls through. Life saver. Unique 3D . . .
I'm so excited to be co-hosting What's Up Wednesday this week! Link up the actual post and not your blogs homepage! 4. Share the link up on Twitter, IG, and Facebook using #Whatsuplinkup In case you don't remember what the prompts are, here is a list: What I loved . . .
One of my February goals was to try a new subscription box and I was super excited to finally try Stitch Fix. A few days after I placed my order, my blogging friend (and sponsor this month) Courtney at The Everyday Elegance posted a review on Rocksbox with a promo code for a free month! So obviously, I had to jump on that right away. Rocksbox is strictly a jewelry box and has a little bit of a different approach to your regular subscription box. You fill out a style profile (similar to Stitch Fix) and preferences and you pay 19 dollars a month flat. You get a box mailed to you with three pieces of designer jewelry that you can keep as long as you want. When . . .
