Silly Bums
Affiliate links may be used in this post, however I paid for this Barkbox with my own money and the reviews are entirely Rosie’s own!
I’ve seen ads for Barkbox floating around Facebook forever now, probably since I started posting daily photos of Rosie and Facebook picked up on that. Barkbox is a subscription service just for pups! It’s $29 dollars a month and it comes with 4-5 items picked out for your dog. I was wary about trying it for a while, since it is on the pricier side but I finally decided to give it a go when my friend Taylor, at Dear Friends, reviewed her Barkbox! Rosie LOVES opening boxes that are for her and since we’ve been working on task training, I wanted to get some special new treats to motivate her. Plus, I love getting mail, I love trying new things and I love getting a deal, so I figured there wasn’t much to lose!
Our Barkbox came within a week of ordering it and Rosie was got so excited when I let her sniff it. Inside our Barkbox we got the following products:
Nootie Peanut Butter Pleasers (valued at $7.00)
Rosie’s Thoughts: YUM! I will do anything for these!
Aussie Naturals Salmon Skins (valued at $8.00)
Rosie’s Thoughts: These are a little weird, but I’ll chew on them when I’m bored!
West Paw Zogoflex Bumi Tug Toy (valued at $15.00)
Rosie’s Thoughts: This toy doesn’t squeak and is hard in my mouth. I don’t get it. I will not play with it.
Mom’s Thoughts: Contacted Barkbox customer service to see if we can trade in this toy for a different one! Waiting to hear back.
However, the most important thing in our Barkbox was Rosie’s new favorite toy: A Ladybug Silly Bum (valued at $10.00, Total value of the box is $50.00, which isn’t too bad!) The second we opened the box and let her look at it, she immediately grabbed the lady bug and never looked back.
So what the heck is a Silly Bum? It’s a slew of stuffed toy animal bums and are custom made for BarkBox pups! This is a plush toy that has crinkly wings, a squeaker in the middle and vinyl over part of it to give it added texture. With junk in the trunk that crinkles and squeaks, it’s nothing butt fun for Rosie. She literally has not been without it since she got it. When we come home, she is waiting by the door with it in her mouth. When she comes inside from the yard, she immediately gets it out of her toy box and walks around with it. When she gets tired, she brings it to her bed and sleeps with it. Her silly bum is the new love of her life and I cannot recommend this toy enough! And if that isn’t enough to convince you how great Silly Bums are, let Rosie show you!
If you want to try Barkbox, you can get a free month added to your subscription by using the code ROSIELYNN when you check out!
