Stitch Fix Review - May Edition
After last month’s Stitch Fix, which was so much better then my first fix, I promptly rescheduled my fix to come again in May, instead of June. April’s fix was so close to perfect, I was hoping that May’s would be a win. Well, I guess I was pushing my luck because this month’s fix wasn’t jaw dropping. Here is what I got:
Market & Spruce Barrymore Solid Pleat Detail Top - $48.00. Color was spot on, but the cut made me look boxy and the material was super wrinkly. Not a fan of material that needs to ironed. Status: returned.
Papermoon Crissy Spacedye Cross-Back Knit Shirt - 44.00 The material of this shirt is so soft and light - perfect for summer. I love the pocket detail and the cut! Status: Kept
41 Hawthorn Jace Dot Print Fit & Flare Dress - 48.00 Out of the box, I loved this and was so excited to try it on. Once on, I didn’t like it at all. Boo. The print makes my bust look huge and the arm straps are weirdly cut. Status: Returned
Pixley Abi Colorblock Maxi Dress - 88.00 I pinned this dress to my Stitchfix Pinterest board and was stoked to see it come in my box! The material was really high quality and I love how it felt. However, this dress was a little too small for me and up close, you could see every line/wrinkle. A close keeper, but it had to be perfect for the price. Status: Returned
Zad Classy Clover Chandelier Earrings - 32.00 Cute earrings but not exactly my style. Status: Returned.
So, the only thing I kept was the Papermoon shirt, which I LOVE. After applying my 20.00 Stitch Fix credit, I paid 25 dollars for it. I’m definitely happy with that shirt, but a little bummed out with the rest of the fix.
I’m going to take a month off and work on pinning to my board to see if that helps. I recently discovered a Stitch Fix Review Facebook Page that posts reviews daily from other bloggers, so I’ve been pinning from there for the last week. I’m excited to see if it helps.
