Well, it’s official! Amazon Prime Day is coming on July 15th and it’s supposed to be bigger and better and longer than ever. You know I’m passionate about a good sale and, surprise surprise, I’m also passionate about Amazon. Seriously, what did we do without it/free two-day shipping? And now that there’s a huge fulfillment center in Utah, we often get free one-day shipping and my mind is blown. How did I live before Prime?

Today, I’m teaming up with my good girlfriend, Sarah, to share our 10 Amazon Summer Must-Haves in preparation for Prime Day. Sarah went to high school with my sister Ashley and married one of my very best childhood friends. She has two darling daughters and is living the dream New England life back in Southern NH. Sarah just started her blog, called More & Merrier a few months ago (all about family traditions, thoughtful gifting, and making life merrier in general) and it’s been so fun to watch her embrace her new online space. She’s one of those people who you just go to when you need a recommendation for a housewarming gift or a recipe and I love that she’s sharing all of her tips and tricks online. Camo Baseball Cap - Big thanks to my girl, Erica, for turning me on to this hat! I’ve always felt like baseball hats looked funny on my (maybe because my head is big? not sure) and have struggled to find one that fit my face well. They either looked to small on my head or the brim didn’t look right. However, I really feel like having a baseball cap for the summer critical for times you don’t want extra sun protection for your face, especially after a sunburn. I’ve also realized that a baseball hat is essential for our Jeep adventures because it keeps my hair from being caked in dirt and sand and because there’s nothing but DIRECT SUN coming through the rolled down windows of the Jeep. Anyway, this hat doesn’t make my head look tiny, the brim actually looks like a brim, and it’s only $9.99. Plus, I LOVE the camo print, especially for a day out in the rig. It seems fitting.

Straw Fedora Hat - Wanting to get on the straw hat trend, but don’t want to break the bank on a GiGi & Pip? I highly recommend this one - it’s very high quality and it’s adjustable so you can make it bigger or smaller, depending on your head size! I have a rather large head and most hats don’t fit me very well, but I’ve been able to get the perfect fit with this one!
Jersey Scoop Neck Dress - You know when you don’t want to get dressed because it’s so dang hot out but you have to wear clothes because it’s not socially acceptable to be naked? This dress solves that problem. Easy to throw on, no pants required, super affordable, and very breathable. Pairs well with flip flops and a baseball hat when you don’t want to do your hair and also looks cute with platform sandals and a straw hat.

Stay Green Bites for Dogs - Keeping the grass green during the summer with a female dog is pretty much impossible. Within the first two weeks of moving to our new home, our very green grass in our new back yard was speckled with dead spots. We immediately ordered these Stay Green Bites to help reduce the acidity of her tinkle and promote good urinary tract health. This, combined with fertilizer and extra watering has helped bring our grass slowly back to life!
Anti-theft Backpack - This is my favorite Amazon purchase of all time. I know, that sounds so dramatic, but it is so good and perfect for summer adventures. While I love a good tote bag for everyday work, I need a backpack for traveling so I can always have both arms/hands-free. This backpack is the perfect size (not too big or small) and it’s pretty cute. It also comes in a variety of colors! But, the kicker is that the zipper is on the back of the backpack, so when you are wearing it, the opening is pressed up right against your back. No one can sneak their hands into your backpack and steal something. We wore this all through Mexico during our cruise and it was great peace of mind! Also, it has two different straps so you can wear it like a backpack and sling it over your shoulder like a purse. 10/10 recommend

Beast 30 Oz Tumbler - I shared this in my summer Amazon roundup last year, but it definitely demands a repeat. This is a cheaper version of a Yeti cup but does just as good as a job keeping drinks cold (or hot) for a long time. I REALLY love this set because it comes with two stainless steel straws and a straw cleaning brush. Not to get all environmental on you all, but that viral video of the sea turtle with the straw stuck in its nose really traumatized me, and so I’m trying my best to not use disposable straws where I can. Regardless of how you feel about straws, the cup and straw combo is fantastic for keeping your drinks cool during the summer!
Alligator Chopper - Making a summer salsa? A salad? Want perfect tiny bite-sized vegetables all cut to the perfect size? Alligator Chopper for the win! This funky little device makes all of your chopping dreams come true, especially when you don’t want to spend a ton of time cutting veggies into tiny perfect pieces.
Flexible Water Hose - I can’t tell you how much I hated working in the yard with an old green hose that was IMPOSSIBLE to roll up, roll down, and wrestling with kinks. Dustin got me a tubeless water hose and it has totally changed my life. SO EASY TO USE. NO KINKS. Easy to roll up and unroll and drag around the yard. I cannot even begin to describe how magical this hose is, but if you have an old hose, trust me. You have to replace it with this.
Lemon Print Silk Scarf - Am I even me if I don’t share a scarf to wear in your hair for the summer? Nope, I’m not. I have pretty much dubbed myself the queen of hair bows and this lemon one is perfect for summer. Wear it in a messy bun, wear it as a headband, wear it in a braid… so many ways to rock the cute lemons!

Little Fires Everywhere - I bought this for my cruise a couple of weeks ago and read it in a day. It was that good. The characters were so complex and developed, and the plot had the tiniest bit of mystery without being a straight “who-dun-it.” I loved the themes of motherhood, creativity, and family and the way it explored a variety of strong female characters. It’s the perfect summer read.
