2 Must Have Bags for Fall
Product Sample - I received a product sampling for styling from SammyDress.com. All opinions are my own.
Growing up, I watched my mom buy shoes like they were hot cakes and collect many pairs of gorgeous heels, spiffy flats and butt-kicking boots. I’ve always enjoyed a cute pair of shoes, but I never really got her need for collecting shoes until I started buying my own hand bags. My first purse that I bought with my own money was during the fall of 2000 (I was 10) and it was from the Limited Too (did you hear the rumor that those are coming back?). It was denim and tiny and had a weird rainbow striped strap and I was obsessed. I went back a few weeks later to buy the same on in brown so I would have one that matched my dressier outfits and thus, my bag-buying habit was formed.
I had to scale back my bag collection before we moved and I only kept a bag for each season, except for fall. For some reason, fall is the only season where I feel like I need to have a selection of bags to choose from when I’m getting dressed. It’s probably because I have an unhealthy obsession with fall fashion, but I just think that adding the right bag can complete an outfit! So, here’s my guide to the two han bags for fall that every girl needs in their wardrobe (and I promise these won’t break the bank):
A warm neutral: This bag was sent to me from Sammy Dress and I thought it would be the perfect neutral for fall because of it’s warm undertones. Having a neutral bag for fall is great to balance off all those bright fall colors I love to wear (like mustard yellow and eggplant purple!)
A Pop of Color: I got this bag from Sammy Dress as well, before they reached out to me, for $11.00. I love having a bag that adds a pop of color to more neutral or dark looks (I wear a lot of grey during the fall) and this one does the trick because it’s more of a jewel tone then a bright spring green.
SammyDress.com is based out of Asia, so shipping does take quite some time. The clothes they have there are cute, but tend to run on the smaller side, so I just stick to ordering adorable bags with the right price!
What kind of bag do you use in the fall? Which one did you like more, the neutral or the pop of color?
