3 Must-Haves for the Fashion Blogger

DSLR –
Having dabbled in photography in college, I have come to learn of the power behind a DSLR and complete manual settings. Being able to adjust my camera to get the exact lighting and look that I have in mind has eased the frustration I used to feel at the lack of control over my point and shoot.
I’m not saying that you can’t be successful without a DSLR; owning mine has just been a complete game changer for me! I don’t have to worry about my background being blown out (over exposed) or the photo being too warm or too cool. I can adjust my settings in relation to the available light to reduce the noise (the grain in the photo) and I can adjust the aperture and shutter speed to produce the right depth of field!
Of course, Dustin takes most of my photos and has learned a ton about using the DSLR, but normally I get him to pose first and set all my settings according to the lighting situation and then give the camera to him.
