In and Out - February Edition
February is almost over! Here is a round up of all the things/products that were IN for me and the things that were most definitely OUT!
IN:
The Wet Hair Brush - Guys, this brush has changed EVERYTHING for my hair. My hair is probably the worst tangly mess every whenever I get out of the shower and I usually just take a giant paddle brush to it and wretch it through. I use the wet brush in the shower after putting in my conditioner and it just cuts through my hair like a knife through butter. The bristles are SUPER flexible so instead of getting caught in the tangles, they bend with it and slowly work the snarls through. Life saver.
Unique 3D Fiberlash Mascara - Ya’ll know I’m all about Benefit’s They’re Real, and I still love it, but Unique’s Fiberlash Mascara really is blowing my mind. It’s a two step mascara; the first is a wet “transplanting gel” that helps the fibers stick to your lashes and lengthen them. Seriously, the fibers look so weird on the wand, but the lashes I’m getting are blowing my mind!
Softbatch Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies from Averie Cooks - Made these the other day and the cream cheese really makes these cookies so soft and chewy and amazing. I used butterscotch chips and chocolate chips and I’m convinced Averie is a baking goddess
Jamberry Nail Wraps - I’m trying some samples right now and I am loving how easy they are to apply. I’m going on three days without them lifting, chipping or anything! And I love the fun patterns!

Also in: tax returns, Echosmith’s song Bright, hybrid SUVS, 40 degree weather in Idaho, anti-shed shampoo for Rosie, my first Rocksbox, Arizona, substitute teaching, staying on top of my reading goal this month, sandals.
OUT:
Rimmel Lash Accelerator - This was recommended to me to try out and while it wasn’t the absolute worst mascara I’ve ever tried, I definitely wasn’t blown away by it. It’s a very thin formula and doesn’t build up very well.
E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer - I usually have really good luck with E.L.F. (the dollar make-up brushes are my fav) but I picked this up a few weeks ago, used it a few times and broke out like I was a 13 year old. It was terrible. I took a break from it, let my face heal and then tried it again. Same results. Boo! My poor pores!
Great Harvest Bread - Okay, let me preference this by saying I love Great Harvest Bread. But the local one just did a massive renovation that included a new menu and my favorite sandwich (and Dustin’s) isn’t on the menu anymore. BOO! Plus, we didn’t have the best service when we went yesterday.
Also out: Rosie rolling in poop, socks, packing, storage unit prices, dentists, breakouts, eyebrows, wind, Dustin’s homework, knee pain.
What’s on your In and Out list this month? Have you had better experiences with the products on my out list?
