Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Yourself
Thanks to Babbleboxx.com for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions and thoughts presented are entirely my own. Thanks for supporting Hey There, Chelsie!
If you’ve been around here for a while, you might know that Valentine’s Day holds some significant meaning to me, as it marks the anniversary off finishing my first chemotherapy treatment 13 years ago. For a while, Valentine’s Day was hard for me because it brought back some pretty rough memories but I’ve worked hard to change how I felt about Valentine’s Day over the last few years. Now, instead of using Valentine’s Day as an excuse to feel sad about what I went through, I use it as an excuse to celebrate myself and all the crazy things my body has overcome. And you know what that means? I happily, HAPPILY treat myself to a Valentine’s Day gift…from me! Valentine’s Day is a holiday centered all around love and I think it’s totally and completely okay to celebrate the love you have for yourself on top of the love you have for others in your life!
I am really excited to partner with BabbleBoxx today to share a list of Valentine’s Day gift ideas you can give to yourself (or to that best friend in your life.) I hope that you take full advantage of Valentine’s Day this year and love on yourself a little bit, too. Life can be hard and sometimes, we’re given a lot to handle or asked to survive a hard trial. But, here you are, surviving, and thriving, and doing your best to live a vibrant life. Celebrate that, girl. You deserve it.
Cross Century II Pearlescent White Lacquer Rollerball Pen
To be honest, I never ever thought about getting myself a luxury pen, but after writing one word with my new Cross Rollerball Pen, I seriously will never write with anything else. This pen has smooth, flowing gel ink that’s quick drying and seriously feels like writing with silk. It’s also weighted and balanced, so it feels amazing to write with when it’s in your hand. (Seriously, I had no clue how much of a difference a weighted pen would feel in my hand, but it makes all the difference in the world.) And, I mean, the actual pen is stunning. It has a pearl white lacquer finish with rose gold accents and looks classic and timeless. I seriously want to write ALL OF THE THINGS with this pen and have actually gotten back into using my planner on a regular basis because writing is so satisfied with this pen.

Zenni Optical Blue Light Blocking Glasses
I’ve been wanting to get blue light blocking glasses for over a year, especially since switching job industries and becoming a social media manager. I am ALWAYS starting at a screen, whether it’s my computer, my phone, or my tablet. I started dealing with eye-aches over the last few months and I had a funny feeling that it was because of the strain I was putting on my eyes by looking at screens all the time. I can’t think of a better self-love present to give myself then by treating my eyes to some blue light blocking glasses. Zenni creates glasses with their BlokzTM blue blocker lenses, which are designed to protect your eyes from harmful blue light emitted from any digital device. I’ve been using these for a week and I already feel such a difference in my eyes!
Want some additional protection for your eyes? Zenni also has some fun sunglass frames, like these fun heart-frame ones (perfect for the holidays) that come with the 80% gray sunglass tint to protect your eyes from the sunshine! You can check out Zenni eyeglasses here!
Casio’s G-SHOCK S Series GMDS6900MC Watch
I’m normally not a watch wearer, but now that I’m getting into a consistent and regular workout routine, I’ve found that I need a watch to be able to keep track of the time I’m spending at the gym and to help me time the different sets of exercises that I do. Enter: Casio, a brand that creates beautiful watches for women. Casio’s G-SHOCK S Series timepieces are created for the influential, fashion-forward woman that seeks sportswear-inspired style. Best part? These watches are shock and water resistant with multiple daily alarms and stopwatch functions – perfect for what I’m looking for in a watch. I also think that this watch is extremely stylish with the rose-gold metallic face and matte wrist band, which means I’d happily wear it outside of the gym and feel stylish and chic!

I know that Valentine’s Day can bring up a variety of emotions, but I think the most important person you should celebrate loving is yourself. Treat yourself to something extra special and know that you deserve it!
