Rosie’s 5 Favorite Pup Products
PR Samples: I received free products in exchange for my honest review
Happy Friday! Rosie girl is taking over the blog today to share her 5 favorite pup products as of late. This summer has been a little hard on her with all of the traveling. She’s taken it like a pro, but I know she’s been a little confused as to why we keep packing her up in the car and taking her to new places. Once we got to Arizona, I wanted to make sure she knew that we were here for the long haul, so I made sure that our home was filled with lots of things that would bring her comfort and help her feel at home. She’s definitely found some favorite things to obsess over since then and I wanted to share the things she loves for other dog mamas out there!
Silly Bums from R2P Pet. Rosie received her first Silly Bum in a Barkbox (Use code ROSIELYNN for a free month) and was obsessed with it from day one. The kind folks over at R2P Pet sent her a few more before we moved and Rosie can’t get enough of them! These toys are hardcore; Rosie has yet to poke a hole in them and she plays rough. She drags them around, squeaks them consistently, shakes them and sometimes pushes them off our balcony. I love that these Silly Bums have squeakers, fluff and crinkly material, so Rosie is always entertained by the texture and sounds that come from them. She has a huge box of toys, but these are the ones she pulls out the most!
Boo Bars by Blue Buffalo – Rosie got these in the mail from Chewy.com and I was so excited for her to get some Halloween themed treats! When I opened the package for her, I immediately wanted to try the treats myself! They smell so good! They are made with pumpkin and cinnamon and all natural ingredients. Plus they have little ghosts on them! How cute for Halloween? Rosie loves these treats and will do just about any trick I ask to get one! These are on sale at Chewy (not an affiliate!) right now, so make sure you snag a bag for your pup!
Mushers Secret Wax: Okay, this is I’ve mentioned this product before, but it’s still up there in my (and Rosie’s) top pup products ever! This is a wax for paws to help protect and hydrate the pads. Since the temperature was still in the 100’s when we got to Arizona, I made sure to apply this wax generously to Rosie’s paws day and night to protect them from burns and cracking. When I stopped for a couple days, she immediately cracked her paw pad! So, it’s definitely a huge help in keeping her paws safe and healthy.
Styptic Powder: Okay, this is more of a fur-mama favorite too, but this stuff has been great for helping with Rosie’s nail and paw injuries. Rosie’s nails are really weak and brittle and she has broken them at the quick a few times. It always freaks me out because she starts limping and nails bleed a TON! This stypic powder helps stop bleeding almost immediately and protect the raw wound from getting infected! I always have this on hand when we go on hikes/adventures on the off chance she snags her nail on a rock.
Earth Rated Doggy Bags & Dispenser – The kind folks at Earth Rated sent Rosie and I a goody box with these awesome doggy bags! Before we got Rosie, I never thought I would be so excited about doggy waste bags as I am about these ones from Earth Rated. Picking up Rosie’s presents isn’t my favorite part about being a dog mama, but it’s important to pick up after her to help with the environment (and the stink!) After going through several kinds of doggy bags, I know exactly what makes a good poo bag. We’ve had some that have holes in them (gross), some that are IMPOSSIBLE to open up, and some that leave little to the imagination. We’ve also gone through several dispensers; most of them break or crack after a few weeks. This one is sleek, strong and is easy to reload with pup bags! I love that Earth Rated helps remind fur parents that it’s important to take care of the planet and pick up after our dogs!
Rosie is loving her new home in Arizona and is adjusting really nicely to her new environment, but these 5 things have definitely helped! Are you a fur mom or dad? What products does your pup love?
