In and Out – March Edition
March has been an awesome month and I’m both sad and stoked that it’s coming to an end! We’re moving in a week from today and while I can’t wait to start our new adventure, it’s very bittersweet to leave our friends, our family and our home in Rexburg. But, I am excited to bring the In and Out – March Edition to you before the month is through! Here is a round up of what things were in this month for me and the things that were out.
IN:
Asobu Flavor It Infusion Water Bottle-I wanted to try infused water but when I used a regular water bottle and put strawberries in it, my water got gummy and and slimy super fast. This water bottle has a little filter to put your fruits and veggies in and prevents it from getting into the rest of the water. I love it! I’m obsessed with strawberry and mint leave infused water and it’s good for me, too!
Revlon Lipstick – My goal for this summer is to work on wearing more lip color; I very very rarely remember/think to put lipstick or gloss on before I leave for the day. I grabbed a couple of lipsticks the other day and the Revlon one is my favorite so far. It’s smooth, creamy and not sticky. It lasts a surprisingly long time, too!
Slate Marble Triangle Studs – I got these in my most recent Rocksbox and I’m obsessed. They are simple, but are so stylish and I’ve worn them almost every day! They go with everything!
Barnes & Noble Hardcover Classics – My sister got me this gorgeous edition of Jane Austen’s novels all bound together for my birthday! Jane Austen is one of my all time favorite authors and I can’t wait to spend this summer reading this beauty and reliving all my favorite Austen moments!
Big Sexy Hair Powder Play – This stuff is so cool. It comes out in a powder and when you place it along your roots and tousle your hair, you get extreme volume! It does give your hair a pretty gritty texture, so I use this on day 2 or day 3 hair to give it extra volume without ruining a recent wash.
Also in: storage unit prices. camaros. 50 mm lens. ticket to ride. otterbox cases with wallets. fried mushrooms. fried green beans. coldstone oatmeal cookie dough ice cream. antler chews for Rosie. CAL Ranch.
OUT:
Covergirl Lipslick Lipstick in Smooch 265 – Like I mentioned before, I want to be better about wearing lip color. I grabbed this lipstick when I picked up the Revlon one and I’m not impressed. It’s sticky, doesn’t come out very smooth and has a very heavy glitter to it which makes me feel like a 12 year old.
Lorac Cobra Mascara – I got a sample of this mascara with a recent Ulta order and I was excited to try it because I hear great things about Lorac. I was really disappointed! It was a really thin formula and it took me forever to get a decent first coat on my lashes. Within a few hours, it looked like I hadn’t put any mascara on to begin with. Bummer.
Also out: packing. freak snowstorms. wind. stomach aches. sophomores. stubbed toes. bipolar weather. trailer wiring harnesses. the IRS.
