April Goals
I can’t believe it’s the beginning of April! I’ve been waiting for April to come since Dustin got his internship offer at the end of last year and now we’re four days away from moving to California! Getting ready to move has really stifled my groove this month, between cleaning, packing and selling all of our stuff; and I’m sad to report that my focus on achieving all my goals this last month kind of went down the drain.
For my March Goals, I wanted to lose an additional 5 pounds. I’ve managed to lose 3 and maintain it, so at there’s that. I basically packed up the whole kitchen a few days ago, so we’ve been eating out a lot and that hasn’t helped. I’m looking forward to getting back into healthy eating after this move. I also wanted to step up my photography by doing two shoots this month! I achieved this! I was able to take some senior portraits of a college friend and drag my husband out to practice with my new 50 mm lens!
I wanted to up my game in Twitter by getting to 300 followers (starting at 255) and I ended the month at 342 followers! Hooray! I didn’t participate in any twitter chats, though, so epic fail on that one. And lastly, I wanted to get a hitch put on the car, get a storage unit and get ready to move. The hitch was put on last week, we got a storage unit lined up and halfway full already and I only need to pack up the bathroom and our bedroom before we leave on Monday! Hooray!
So, I guess March wasn’t all that bad, after all!
Here are my April Goals and what I want to accomplish this next month:
Revamp my Sponsorship Program: I’m already testing the waters with some ideas with some of my April Sponsors and I’m excited to see what works and what doesn’t!
Get a job in California: Dustin and I decided that it would be helpful if I tried to find some job while we are in California. We’d be fine if I didn’t work, but I want some extra cash to fund my blog and to go on adventures, so I need to find some work!
Get back on the health train: These last couple weeks have really thrown me off my health-game with packing and moving and not having any food or things to cook on. We’ve eaten out a ton and I’ve had so much root beer (it’s my stress drink). Once we get settled in California, I want to get back on the health train by 1. Going to the gym at least 3 times a week 2. Go for a walk or bike ride with Rosie once a day 3. Go on another soda fast
Work on my Instagram: Anyone who follows me on instagram knows that it’s full of pictures of Rosie. And who wouldn’t love that; she’s so stinking cute! But I want to work on filling up my feed with more intentional pictures that relate to my blog and my photography! And I want to gain 50 more followers!
What are your goals for this month?
