May Goals
I’m a little bit late on getting this posted, but I seriously cannot express enough how much writing out monthly goals on here allows me to actually achieve something! I love that I can hold myself accountable for actually improving on things because I blog about them. So, thanks friends, for helping me better myself.
For April, I wanted to revamp my sponsorship program, which I did! I am currently running a soft launch for free for the next couple of months to work out any and all kinks in it. (If you are interested in trying it out, you can go here to see what spots are still available!) I also wanted to get a job in California, which I did a week after we moved here! I was so relieved to get a job offered to me right on the spot after an interview. It’s part time, so I can still soak up the sunshine and spend time adventuring with Rosie in the afternoons!
I wanted to get back on the health train, which has been a bit of a struggle. Thankfully, Dustin’s parents got us a membership at the local gym with a really nice lap pool, so we’ve started going there to swim and that’s been helping!
Finally, I wanted to improve my instagram feed. I worked hard to plan photos ahead of time, to stage them, edit them and I even put together and hosted a loop giveaway (which was a ton of work, but really fun!) It was such a great learning experience! Here are some of my favorite insta-pictures from the month:
All in All, I feel like April has been a great success!
For the month of May, I want to…
Read eight books: This will put me back on track of achieving my goal. I also recently participated in my first book swap and had SO much fun, and after getting an overwhelming positive response, will be putting together a similar one for anyone who wants to participate.
Grow my bloglovin’ followers: I would love to have a few more followers on bloglovin’ so I am making that the social media platform to focus on this month! I’m at 113 right now, and would love to be at 135 by the end of the month (Do a girl a favor and follow me?)
Gym 3x a Week: I’m going to take advantage of the membership my in-laws got me and go to the gym three times a week! Swimming laps is such a great work out and is a great rehab option for strengthening my knee.
Create my first Vlog-Dustin came up with this one for me when I asked him! I thought this was a pretty good idea. Vlogging is totally outside my comfort zone, so I think it would be a great thing to try out and to push myself creatively.
Work on blog scheduling-I’ve been a little all over the place with scheduling time to blog, so I want to work on being more consistent and find a system that works for me!
What are your May goals? Any tips for me as I work to achieve mine?
