One of my FAVORITE events to use an excuse to treat myself starts TOMORROW and after trying out so many of the products that are going to be on sale this year, I knew I had to share what information I could with everyone else who wants to take advantage of the amazing sales. Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty is a semi-annual event (held in the spring and fall) where they mark down a ton of high-end products for one day (usually 50% off or more.) Every day has a new sale on a new product and there are "hot buys" for the whole 21 days, where . . .
*Affiliate Links St. Patrick's Day has never really been my thing, but I always smile when it comes around because it means two things: One: My birthday is coming up soon Two: Spring will be here before we know it. So, for those two reasons alone, I've decided to give St. Patrick's Day a little more love and acknowledgment this year and create a simple but fun makeup look to rock for that day. I was inspired by my new Morphe Jewel Tone palette (which I hauled recently in a massive Ulta order on Instagram live) which has a beautiful gold shadow named "Fool's Gold." I knew that this shade would be the star of the look and used that shadow as the base for . . .
“This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CleanFaceWithEquate http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV” Once or twice a week, I get on Instagram Stories to share a beauty product while I'm getting ready in the morning for work. Without fail, every time I start my story I say: "I'm running late for work, but I wanted to show you this product real quick." It seems like no matter how much sleep I get or how early I get up, I'm still always running late. I really think it's been harder since I made the transition back to full-time work - instead of going to work for a couple hours, I . . .

February has literally flown by (I really think losing those two extra days makes it go by so much faster!) and I wanted to hop on and fine-tune a blog series so I can consistently share some of my favorite things that I think are worth noting and possibly be purchasing! Introducing "A Few of my Favorite Things" - which will be a monthly series where I wrap up some of my favorite products, discoveries, and reads that I loved that month! Favorite Things | February: Sudara Robe - This was sent to me last month and I was absolutely honored to be given it and to wear it. I've been . . .

Seek the advice of a professional before changing your diet. About a year ago, I shared this post about my health journey and how I wanted to get serious about taking care of my body. I started getting serious, but, as it always happens, I let my knee replacement become my excuse and gave up again. It's really easy to say "I can't workout because of my knee." The truth, though, is that I can work out - I just can't do the workouts I want to without risking injury to my leg or . . .
I know, I know. Many of you requested a more simple Valentine's Day makeup tutorial. And I swear, I had all the plans and intentions on doing a simple makeup look. But then, I got the new Stila Glitter and Glo eyeshadow and I don't know what happened. Before I knew it, I had this rather dramatic, glittery pink smokey eye look and I loved it so much that I've recreated it at least 5 times. And then, when I shared a shot of it on my Instagram, the response was OVERWHELMINGLY positive. Ya'll wanted a tutorial! Soooo, here goes. Also, please enjoy the various faces that come with shooting a makeup tutorial - I'm convinced there's just no way to take flattering photos . . .
I was going through Christmas Movie withdrawals last month SO BADLY. I kept sitting down and turning on Netflix thinking about watching a Cheesy Christmas movie and then realizing with such deep sadness that Christmas is OVER and I have to wait at least 6 months until it's socially acceptable to start watching Christmas movies again. (Yes, I start getting ready for Christmas in July and I'm not sorry about it.) So, in the absence of the wonderful cheesy goodness of The Christmas Prince, I decided to embark on a Valentine's Day Movie adventure. I've been watching ALL the rom-coms that Netflix has to offer over the last couple weeks and feel like I have thoroughly . . .
DISCLOSURE - I am not a medical professional and this is not medical advice - these are just tips and tricks suggested by the HTC community. Please consult a doctor if you are dealing with serious migraine issues! It's been quite a week (and if you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, you know what I'm talking about.) If you haven't been hanging out on my stories (shameless plug-please come hang out in my stories, they are currently my favorite and I absolutely love being able to talk to you guys in my DM's,) here's a 10-word recap of what's been going on: In the last month, I've had a lot of migraines. Like, at least 5. It's been . . .
*affiliate links I love seeing everyone's "best of beauty 2017" posts, but every time I read one, I find myself thinking that since those products came out in 2017, I shouldn't spend money on them since something better is bound to be released in 2018. I realize that isn't really a logical thought pattern because it takes me months of trying out a product before I feel comfortable recommending it to you all. That being said, I wanted to share my top 40 beauty products that I TRULY tested out through 2017 and that I feel 100% comfortable recommending to you. Some of these products were sent to me in PR, most of them I bought myself, and I truly feel like I've got . . .
This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. All opinions are my own. It's no secret that I've been on a journey (a long one, at that) to learning how to love myself and my body again. For a long time, I felt very pretty dang betrayed by my body and had a very hard time coming to grips with the fact that it would never be the same again. Cancer has a funny way of staying with you like that, even 11 years later. October is a rough month for me - it's the month I celebrate my remission anniversary, but it is also the month I lost one of my closest friends from my hospital floor, Maddie. To say that the survivor's guilt is heavy is an understatement. So, as . . .

A few month ago, I wrote this post and talked about how I was finally committed to getting healthier and taking care of my body like it deserved to be treated. I’ll be honest - it hasn’t been easy. I mean, I knew it wouldn’t be, but I was so determined to make permanent lifestyle changes that I would be able to push through the hard times more easily than before. Although it that I think my motivation has come and gone through the last few months. There would be weeks at a time where I would be eating well I realized that . . .
This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. All opinions are my own I know I've talked about this before, but over the last year and a half, my skin has done a complete 360 turn on me and it's been super frustrating, to say the least. I very rarely had to deal with acne besides the occasional little pimple, but ever since our move to Louisiana, my skin has just thrown a fit about pretty much everything. I've been dealing with a lot of painful, cystic acne, uneven skin tone, and texture. It's definitely been a shot to my confidence at times and really frustrating because I haven't been able to fix it overnight. However, over the last 6 months, I have . . .
